Full Stack Engineer (Junior / Medior)

Apparo is a software and AI studio based in Belgrade. Since 2022 we have been building web platforms, mobile apps, data pipelines and automations for clients in Serbia and abroad - in healthcare, pharma, manufacturing and SaaS. More than 60 projects are behind us.

Alongside our client work we are building our own product: GetData (getdataspot.com), a marketplace that connects hospitals and labs with researchers and AI teams who need medical datasets.

We are looking for a full stack engineer who is genuinely curious about a lot of things at once.

Our work moves across industries. One quarter it is a hospital data pipeline, the next a production floor system, then a SaaS platform. Someone who only wants to stay inside one framework will find that tiring; someone who enjoys learning a new domain every few months will find it the best part of the job.

You would work on features end to end - database, API, interface - with senior colleagues nearby rather than above you.

Development

• Building features end to end: database, API, front end, and the tests that go with them
• Work on client projects and on the GetData product, usually one or two at a time
• Writing code the next person can read without having to ask you

Working with the team

• Taking part in planning and in decisions about how something will be built
• Code review, in both directions
• Deployment and keeping an eye on what is running in production

• A degree in engineering from a technical faculty
• Python and Django
• Next.js and React
• An understanding of software architecture - not only how to make it work, but why it is built that way
• Daily use of AI tools in development. We are an AI studio and we expect it in everyday work.
• Git and GitHub
• Breadth of interest. This is a full stack role and the work moves between domains.
• A high level of English, spoken and written - documentation and some of our clients are in English, so this one is a must

• Flutter
• Docker
• CI/CD, Jenkins in particular
• Familiarity with any of the industries we work in - healthcare, pharma, manufacturing, SaaS

• Real features from the first week, not a sandbox project
